Meet Our Team

Lake Tapps Veterinary Hospital

Lake Tapps Veterinary Hospital

After serving her community for many, many years, the well-loved Dr. Susan Davison sold her business to WellHaven Pet Health in 2019 and no longer is practicing medicine. We began our journey at this hospital in March of 2021 and are loving serving this community. We are located in the beautiful-serene area of Lake Tapps on Veterans Memorial Drive across from the post office and
police/fire station. We have been working hard to refresh and update our hospital with more remodeling to come. We have learned a lot during Covid and found the quieter we keep our hospital the happier are patients are. Our lobby is closed to general traffic. When you arrive at our facility you will call to get checked in whether you are picking up medications or here for an appointment. We will then give you the option of coming in for your appointment or receive full curbside service. We look forward to seeing you and helping with your pet’s needs.

Dr. Krystal Oronia

Dr. Oronia joined us in January of 2022 and we are thrilled to have her!
She is a Bonney Lake local that is happy to be working with the people and pets of her hometown. Throughout her childhood her family had cats and dogs and she aspired to become a veterinarian because of them. After high school, she moved to eastern Washington where she studied biology and obtained her bachelor’s degree from Eastern Washington University. While applying for veterinary school she worked as a veterinary assistant in Cheney, Washington. In 2009 she transitioned from
veterinary assistant to veterinary student and finally veterinarian in 2013 when she graduated from WSU College of Veterinary Medicine. While she did love being on the Palouse, she wanted to return to Western Washington to be closer to her family. Dr. Oronia worked in Sammamish and Puyallup prior to returning to her hometown. She enjoys cultivating relationships with pet owners and working with them to take the best care of their furry family members. When Dr. Oronia is not working, she spends time at home with her husband, two children, and a kitty named Moji. She also enjoys reading, hiking and traveling.

Ann is an amazing surgery technician where she excels at anesthetic procedures and dentals. Ann is happily married with 3 kids, 2 dogs, and 3 cats. Ann and her husband have a passion for classic cars. They also love camping with the family and traveling. At home you will find her talent lies in the kitchen baking and decorating specialty cakes.

Veterinary Assistant/Client Service Representative

Nichelle joined our team in April 2022 and in a short time has become a real asset to our hospital. Nichelle returned to her roots in the Pacific Northwest after spending years on the east coast. She has been working with animals since 2016 which includes working in zoos as well. For those clients that are hearing impaired she is fluent in American Sign Language. When Nichelle isn’t reading books, she is spending quality time with friends and family playing board games as well as bowling. She has two fur babies, a cat named Mylo and a dog named Kylo.

Practice Manager/Client Service Representative

Debbie joined Lake Tapps Veterinary Hospital in March of 2021. She has been in the vet industry since 2012 and loves customer interaction. Debbie is married to a wonderful man, Chris who retired as a firefighter in 2021. Together they raised three amazing children and too many animals/species to list. She pursued a career in the veterinary industry where she could interact with those that love animals as she does. We could not be happier to have her! She has recently rekindled her love for gardening and Sunday family dinners.
