Meet Our Veterinary Team in Bonney Lake, WA
APPOINTMENT
Lake Tapps Veterinary Hospital
After serving her community for many, many years, the well-loved Dr. Susan Davison sold her business to WellHaven Pet Health in 2019 and no longer is practicing medicine. We began our journey at this hospital in March of 2021 and are loving serving this community. We are located in the beautiful-serene area of Lake Tapps on Veterans Memorial Drive across from the post office and
police/fire station. We have been working hard to refresh and update our hospital with more remodeling to come. We have learned a lot during Covid and found the quieter we keep our hospital the happier are patients are. Our lobby is closed to general traffic. When you arrive at our facility you will call to get checked in whether you are picking up medications or here for an appointment. We will then give you the option of coming in for your appointment or receive full curbside service. We look forward to seeing you and helping with your pet’s needs.

Dr. Monte Stoehr

He also possesses a skillset in endoscopy and laparoscopy procedures. He is willing to go above and beyond for your pet’s health needs. Dr. Stoehr’s hobbies include adventures in the great outdoors exploring the Pacific Northwest where he loves running, rowing, mountain climbing and camping.
Dr. Krystal Oronia
Veterinarian
Dr. Oronia joined us in January of 2022 and we are thrilled to have her!
She is a Bonney Lake local that is happy to be working with the people and pets of her hometown. Throughout her childhood her family had cats and dogs and she aspired to become a veterinarian because of them. After high school, she moved to eastern Washington where she studied biology and obtained her bachelor’s degree from Eastern Washington University. While applying for veterinary school she worked as a veterinary assistant in Cheney, Washington. In 2009 she transitioned from
veterinary assistant to veterinary student and finally veterinarian in 2013 when she graduated from WSU College of Veterinary Medicine. While she did love being on the Palouse, she wanted to return to Western Washington to be closer to her family. Dr. Oronia worked in Sammamish and Puyallup prior to returning to her hometown. She enjoys cultivating relationships with pet owners and working with them to take the best care of their furry family members. When Dr. Oronia is not working, she spends time at home with her husband, two children, and a kitty named Moji. She also enjoys reading, hiking and traveling.

Dominique
Veterinary Assistant
Dom joined Lake Tapps Veterinary Hospital in March 2024 and quickly became an integral part of our family. She has always had a deep love for animals and has dedicated her life to caring for them. Even as a child, she would take in stray animals and volunteer at shelters. After making a career change from customer service to animal rescue, she worked her way up from animal care to animal transport, even driving all the way to California to bring animals back to Washington for adoption. When she lost her job due to COVID-19, she continued to volunteer, particularly with horses and a donkey at a sanctuary. She eventually worked as a foster coordinator at a kitty rescue but hopes to return to shelter work in the future.
Feeling a strong sense of purpose, she decided to become a vet assistant and found immense joy in learning new skills to help animals heal and recover. She is eager to continue her education and become a vet tech specializing in animal behavior. When she’s not working with animals, she enjoys roller skating and has been involved in roller derby for 13 years.
Now retired from roller derby, she plans to use her free time to volunteer with animals, travel with her partner, and enjoy vacations with her dogs. Dom is looking forward to a fulfilling future where she can continue to advocate for the well-being of animals.

Stephanie joined our Lake Tapps Veterinary Hospital team in July of 2024. She has a great passion for the veterinary field, having first discovered her love for it back in 2018 while working at a Specialty and Emergency hospital in her home state of California. She moved back to the PNW in 2019, which she considers her “home,” as she previously lived here for several years. In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys playing and going on walks with her dog, Fang, who she named after Hagrid’s dog from Harry Potter. She’s also busy re-learning Spanish to become more fluent and is picking up sewing as a new skill. Maintaining a variety of hobbies keeps her occupied, and she especially loves taking care of her collection of houseplants. One of Stephanie’s passion is delving into her family lineage, which traces back to Guatemala and beyond. She finds her work most fulfilling when she’s building strong connections with clients and going the extra mile to cater to their needs. We’re thrilled to welcome such a cheerful, enthusiastic, and friendly addition to our team!
